Nizam wonder goal lauded online
Khairul Nizam might have rocked the Jalan Besar Stadium with his fantastic overhead scissors-kick to salvage a last-gasp 1-1 draw for the LionsXII in the Malaysian Super League against Selangor on Saturday (Aug 15).
Now, the 24-year-old striker's acrobatic equaliser has made waves on the Internet as well.
Nizam's strike was one of 23 goals to feature on The Guardian's best goals of the week column alongside Lionel Messi, Samuel Eto'o and Obafemi Martins.
Nizam's wonder goal also made it onto the Bleacher Report as part their Best Golazos from World Football This Weekend feature.
