Singapore netballers win Asian title again
Champions again.
Singapore's netball team retained their Asian crown when they defeated Sri Lanka 59-41 in the Mission Foods Asian netball championships at the OCBC Arena on Sunday (Sept 14).
Singapore's victory at the Sports Hub was inspired by goal shooter Charmaine Soh, who was near-flawless in her shooting, scoring 42 points from 54 attempts.
It is the Republic's third Asian title after winning in 2005 and in the previous tournament in 2012.
