Cheeky little dig! Jose tackles Olly Murs during charity game
Oh Jose, you cheeky little scamp.
While managing the Rest of the World against England during the Soccer Aid 2014 charity match at Old Trafford on Sunday (June 8), Jose Mourinho noticed that Olly Murs was becoming a threat against his team.
Instead of giving his defenders instructions to mark the pop singer tighter, the Chelsea manager decided to take matters into his own hands.
Yep, he stepped onto the pitch and took out Murs himself as if it were his birthright to do so.
"I'll teach you to mess with my players, Olly!"
With the Old Trafford crowd cheering his cheeky incursion onto the pitch, the Special One retreated to the dugout with a big grin on his face.
Keeping with the tone of the match as a friendly, Murs later tweeted:
Unsurprisingly, Mourinho's Rest of the World team beat England 4-2 as the match raised £4.2 million ($8.8m) for Unicef.
