Time to queue up, football fans.

The first 100 readers to redeem The New Paper’s 2014 World Cup fixture poster at Courts Tampines Megastore on Friday (June 6) will also receive a $40 Courts voucher.

The first 10 in line will also receive a pair of Puma football boots, which may include the evoSPEED (retailing at $229) and the evoPOWER ($279), depending on sizes and availability.

In partnership with electrical, IT and furniture retailer Courts, TNP has produced a special World Cup fixture poster.

Designed by TNP’s award-winning art team, the poster comes in two sections.

The first half can be found in the centrespread on Wednesday (June 5), with the second half appearing in the Thursday (June 5) issue of The New Paper.

The poster will allow fans to fill in the scores of all 64 World Cup fixtures and track the progress of their teams from the first round to the finals.

For convenience, it also has all the matches listed in Singapore time.

To redeem the limited-edition glossy poster, readers have to turn up at the Courts Tampines Megastore on June 6 with both TNP sections.

WHILE STOCKS LAST

The poster, vouchers and boots will be given out while stocks last.

The $40 Courts voucher is valid only with a purchase totalling $100 or more — and could help football fans save when they buy a brand-new TV as they gear up to watch the World Cup from their homes.

“The focus is on large-screen TVs, surround sound (systems) and sofa sets as Singapore gears up for the World Cup,” said Mr Tim Luce, Courts Singapore country chief executive officer.

“Football’s the most popular sport here, so it’s all about giving back to our customers.”
