Shooter Teo finishes 30th in 25m pistol
National shooter Teo Shun Xie's campaign at Rio 2016 ended yesterday when she finished 30th out of 40 athletes and failed to make it to the semi-finals of the women's 25m pistol qualifiers at the Olympic Shooting Centre in Rio.
The 27-year-old shot a 571 - 286 in the three-series precision segment and 285 in the rapid stage - and finished 21 points behind top qualifier, China's Zhang Jingjing, who shot an outstanding 592.
Teo had finished 37th out of 44 shooters in the women's 10m air pistol qualifiers on Sunday.
Jasmine Ser - Team Singapore's other shooter at the Olympics - will compete in the 50m rifle 3 positions qualifiers at 8pm tomorrow (Singapore time).
