Watching videos of the ALS ice bucket challenge is like eating a can of Pringles potato chips - once you start, you just can't stop.

Apart from having fun in the name of a good cause, it isn't all about watching how people carry out the dare - take Bill Gates' elaborate rig for example - or how they react to getting drenched in freezing cold water - see Taylor Swift's screams or Ryan Seacrest's getting soaked with minimal fuss.

It's also about who gets dared next.

Former Manchester United great David Beckham, who was nominated by Ryan Seacrest, opted for three giant names in their respective fields - basketball legends Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan, and actor Leonard DiCaprio - before getting doused by a huge barrel of icy water while clad in a cap and jeans.

Next up comes Chelsea captain John Terry, who nominated teammates past and present in John Obi Mikel and Frank Lampard as well as - surprise - Rafa Benitez.

As you all know, Benitez - now head coach of Italian club Napoli - was Chelsea's interim manager in 2013 and reportedly had a frosty relationship with club captain JT.

Rafa doesn't seem too keen...

Then comes WWE chairman, Vince McMahon, who was dared by his son-in-law Triple H.

Fully dressed in a suit and tie, McMahon called upon Donald Trump, Maria Menounos and "that pesky little amphibian, Kermit the Frog".

Is anyone ready for some Benedict Cumberbatch ice bucket action? It should happen soon, thanks to Tom Hiddleston.

Here are a few more ice bucket challenges, gathered here for your convenience and amusement.

Stephanie McMahon:

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson:

And lastly, Wes Brown:
