One lucky winner of The Straits Times-OCBC Cycle 2025 contest will get to own and ride the new Brompton G Line foldable bicycle.

As part of the collaboration between ST and Singapore's largest cycling event, 10 prizes are up for grabs in the contest from March 17 (10am) to April 3 (11.59pm).

The Brompton G Line bike, the top prize, is a full-sized bicycle with larger 20-inch wheels, custom-made puncture-resistant tyres and wider handlebars for all terrain, all-weather riding.

Priced at £2,399 (S$4,100), the G Line has yet to be launched in Asia.

The other nine prizes are: Four pairs of Sunday Shades sunglasses worth $59 each, and five pairs of registration slots to OCBC Cycle's The Straits Times Ride (20km) priced at $126 a pair.

All winners of the contest have to be participants of OCBC Cycle 2025.

Back in Singapore for its 17th edition, the May 3-4 cycling event at the Singapore Sports Hub is targeting 7,000 riders across eight categories.

A new Round Island Virtual Ride is among the highlights for 2025. Only 100 slots are available and participants must complete at least 120km around the island in a single attempt within 24 hours from May 3 to June 2.

They must submit details such as date, distance and duration, which must be recorded by a fitness tracker. The ride map, along with a picture of themselves and their bicycle, must also be included.

The main categories - The Straits Times Ride (20km), the Sportive Ride (40km) and the Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) - will take place on closed roads on May 4, with landmarks such as the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, Singapore Flyer and Gardens by the Bay along the route.

The other categories are: Mighty Savers Kids Ride (two to five years old), Kids Ride (five to 12 years old), Speedway Open Championship, and 100km Virtual Ride.
