There was a lot of chatter about the SG50 film 1965 last year.
Now, we finally have the first look of the movie, which is set to premiere at the iconic Capitol Theatre this year.
A teaser trailer was uploaded on YouTube and Facebook over the weekend.
These are some of the local actors and actresses we spotted in the teaser.
1. Nicole Seah
2. Joanne Peh
3. Qi Yuwu
4. Malaysian actress Deanna Yusoff
5. Mike Kasem
6. Sezairi Sezali
Unfortunately, Lim Kay Tong, who plays Singapore's founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew in the movie, is nowhere to be seen in the trailer.
The $2.8 million film is a tribute to Singapore's 50 years of independence and is said to focus primarily on the racial riots.
The movie is executive produced by Daniel Yun and is directed by Randy Ang.
