Huawei has wearable technology for TNP Big Walk participants
The New Paper Big Walk is about more than healthy fun.

Huawei's first piece of wearable technology, the TalkBand B1 is a hybrid "talk and track" wireless earpiece with a host of functions that will come in handy during your workouts.
The device is a Bluetooth-enabled headset with a flexible display that shows the time and the name of the caller or number.
You can wear the device, which weighs a mere 9.4g, on the ear during calls or on your wrist with the sweat-resistant bands that come in a variety of colours.
The device also allows for seven hours of continuous calling, which means that even the most leisurely of walkers can chat with friends throughout the 5km Big Walk.
The TalkBand B1 can track the steps taken, distanced covered and calories burned.
Another device that would add value to your walk is Huawei's newest phone, the Honor 6 (available from Friday for $549).
It boasts a 4G LTE Octa-core processor and has a compact 12.7cm screen. This will be handy for participants with pocketless clothes as the Honor 6 fits comfortably in the average person's hand.
The phone's 3100 mAh energy-efficient battery saves up to 30 per cent more power.
But the Honor 6's most impressive feature might be its camera. The front camera features Ultra-FastSnapshot, which allows users to take pictures even when the screen is locked.
While other opportunists are still scrambling to unlock their phones, Honor 6 users can simply tap the phone's volume down button twice to snap a picture, ensuring that no big moment goes undocumented.
